Landon Clay Lockamy, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with his heavenly Father on March 26th, 2023. He was 14 years old. Landon was in the 8th grade at Apple Valley Middle School and was looking forward to his Freshman year of High School. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hendersonville where he was involved with the youth group.
Landon brought so much joy and laughter to those around him. He stole our hearts from the day he was born with his big blue eyes and long eyelashes. He was creative and full of energy but also had a quiet side. Landon loved Jesus and showed that love by being kind to those around him. He had a way of be-friending those that really needed a friend. One friend said – “Landon was the good one. Out of all of us he was always there and you knew he cared.” He was always compassionate and thoughtful and gave the best hugs. He also loved listening to music, running, and playing video games with his brothers and friends. He enjoyed riding to school with his oldest brother, Vance and hanging out with his youngest brother, Asher.
Those left to hold him in their hearts are his Parents, Billy and Kim Lockamy. Brothers, Asher and Vance. His grandparents: Delbert and Wanda Cox and Billy and Lynn Lockamy. Aunts and Uncles: Amanda and Tony Montalvo, Justin Cox and Kristin Shuey(Fiance), Stacy and Chad Hudson, Jenny Young, Michael and Josefina Lockamy and Rhonda Cagle. Several Cousins: Hudson and Bennett Montalvo, Brandon(Bubba) Hudson, David and Sofia Lockamy Aaron and Courtney. A close friend-Kris Parker, His wife Emily and their children : Matthew, Abigail and Sophia as well as many other Cousins, Great Aunts and Uncles.
A special thank you to our church family – Ebenezer Baptist Church and our Pastor, Steven Blanton. Thank you to our family, friends and community for the outpouring of love you have shown for our precious son.

My Mom and I send our deepest condolances to you all. He was a very kind and sweet boy and will forever be in our hearts. He always expressed such a joyous and sweet personality. He was one of my best friends and no one in our group will ever be the same. Nothing is the same knowing he is no longer with us all but we have great faith and hope that we will be reunited with him some day. He was a good person to everyone that came in contact with him. Gone too soon but never forgotten. Jesus please heal our souls and send us comfort, peace and love during these hard times. Love you Landon, now you can rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
