Adrian Eugene King, 46 of Hendersonville died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his home.
He grew up in Henderson County and was a lifelong resident. Adrian is preceded in death by his dad, Vernon Eugene King; maternal grandparents, Hubert & Idella Anders Stepp; paternal grandparents, Vernon & Eula King; three uncles, Rudolph Stepp, Michael Stepp, and Leon King; and an aunt, Marie King.
Adrian was a tattoo artist most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed to paint, draw, and ride his motorcycle.
He is survived by his mother, Teresa King of East Flat Rock; a son, Zach King of Iowa; a sister, Tonya Bouhkris and her husband Luis of Hendersonville; a niece, Cara Bouhkris and her fiancÈ David of Alabama; a nephew, Alex King of East Flat Rock; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and the love of his life his dog, Sweet Pea.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
i know him as tackle box, he was a king caring person with many talents. i know he would collect record albums and always be there for family,friends,anyone who came in contact with. he especially love sweet pea, she always keep him company. she was a daughter to tackle box. he is missed tremendousley from me Lisa Crosby Charity crosby Lynn Lebeck and his best friend James Crosby as well as many others.. may you RIP my friend we love and miss you, you may be gone but you live in our hearts and mind of all the great memories we all have shared. god bless the family

I am so sorry for the loss of this amazing person. I tried to get to the service today but was unable due to schedule issues. Adrian always impressed me with his depth of insight he expressed through his art work. I felt truly blessed to know him and he will be missed. His talent was amazing. Teresa, Tonya, and the rest of the family, please accept my condolences. I not only went to school with Adrian, but my family lived behind Norm’ s on Upward road and I remember you from there as well. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

I have know Adrian for several years now, my children know him as well as my grandchildren. He was always saving someone and looked after those who were in need. He will be greatly missed AND remembered by many in the community.
