Albert ìBuzzî Samuel Wayne, 79, beloved husband, loving father, and lifetime friend passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Brian Center of Hendersonville.

A native of Aurelius, NY, he was the son of the late Delancey & Emma Wayne. Albert is also preceded in death by: a step-father, Arthur O. Scolfield; three brothers, Jim Wayne, Martin Wayne, and Terry Scolfield; and a sister-in-law, Norma Wayne.

He proudly served in the US Marines Corps during the Korean Conflict as a Corporal. Albert retired as a self-employed landscape contractor. He loved golf, woodworking, hunting, boating, and camping.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia Wayne; a daughter, Wendy Wayne of Brevard; three sons, Albert Steven Wayne and his wife Cathy of Giddings, TX, Russell Wayne and his wife Diane of Edneyville, and Martin Wayne and his wife Karen of League City, TX; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Anne Pearce and her husband Carl of Courtland, NY; two brothers, Bob Wayne of Cayuga, NY and Dell Wayne of Auburn, NY; and two sister-in-laws, Nancy Wayne of NY and Doris Wayne of Owasco, NY.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with military rites.

Patty,

We are so sorry about Al and worry about you. We are both sick and will not attend services but know in your heart that we are there with you and the family. Please call me when you can. He will be missed, by us too.
