Allen B. Heatherly, 71 of Saluda, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Baxter and Ozellar Heatherly.
He retired from J.P. Stevens Co.
Surviving is his wife Ruby Heatherly; a brother Francis Heatherly and wife Annette of Hendersonville; and a half-sister Geneva Tankersley of East Flat Rock.
Burial will be private.
I have a lot of memories of Allen as a child and from working with him in the mill. I am sad to hear he has passed. That leaves only Frances and Jeneree left out of the Heatherly children. It is such a loss to have this generation pass on. I will be remembering you in my prayers.

Allen was a great fellow, was a hard worker and he will be missed by all who knew him.
