Alvin Wayne Stepp

Alvin Wayne Stepp 78 of Hendersonville NC went home to be with the Lord, Monday September 18, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milas F. and Lois Skiver Stepp, and his beloved sister Connita Middleton.

A.W. as he was called, was in the US Navy serving in the Great Lakes Region. He retired from Volvo Construction Equipment in Skyland, NC.

Left to Cherish his life are, his beloved wife Freda W. Stepp, his children David Andrew and (Tamara), Sheryl Ann and (Jack), Robert Lee and (Codie), Michael and (Roxanne), Brian and (Melissa) and Angie, his sister Patricia Crane and (Tom), and Joe Middleton. He also leaves behind beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of many friends.

He enjoyed meeting his friends at Hardee’s for breakfast and their fellowship throughout the years. He dearly loved his wife Freda, his family, his church, and his Savior Jesus Christ.

One of Wayne’s Favorite verses from the Bible was John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
