It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Angelina D. Zuiderhof, lovingly known as Angie, who peacefully departed this world on Tuesday, January 09, 2024, at Four Seasons Hospice & Palliative Cares Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Born on Saturday, April 01, 1922, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Angie’s remarkable journey spanned 101 years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Zuiderhof; her parents, Agnes and Antonio; her stepfather, Pasquale Rubino; and her three brothers, William, Virgil, and George.

Angie’s life was a testament to resilience, strength, and unwavering love. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, cherishing the moments spent with her three sons, Kenneth, Stephen, and Joseph, and their families. Angie’s presence brought warmth and joy to the lives of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless others who were blessed to have known her. Her wide embrace extended to an extensive network of dear friends who were touched by her kindness and compassion.

Services to celebrate Angie’s remarkable life will be held in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Hendersonville, North Carolina on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m with Rev. James Buckner officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. Following the service, Angie will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where she will find eternal peace next to her late husband, Frank.

Dear family, I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Angie, your mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Aunt. I knew her at our church, Arden Presbyterian, and knew your father, Frank, too. We always sat near each other during the worship service. We spoke and shook hands every Sunday and she was always so nice, cheerful and interested in how we were doing. I liked Angie and will miss her but we know Our Lord and Savior took her home to Heaven. I am praying for your family.
