Angelo Louis Mascioni, 90, of Hendersonville, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010, at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville. A native of Brandy Camp, PA, he lived in Henderson County since 1998. He was a son of the late Elio and Lucia Marcucci Marscioni, and the husband of the late Angela Mascioni who died in 2004. He was a life member of Hedrick-Rhodes VFW Post #5206, and served with the Army during WWII. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Larry Mascioni and his wife Patricia, of Yorktown Heights, NY; a daughter, Myriam Beaupre of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Mario and Johnny Mascioni, both of PA; two sisters, Irene Mascioni of PA, Twila Kline of OH; three grandchildren, Matthew, Crystal, Daniel; two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be at 2:00 pm Monday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Mortuary. Father John Salvas will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service in the chapel. Military rites will be conducted by Hubert M. Smith American Legion Post # 77, Hedrick-Rhodes VFW Post # 5206, and DAV Chapter 14.
