Anna Mae Ailstock, 76, of Hendersonville, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 in Mission Hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Duffield, VA and had been a resident of Henderson County for the last three years. She was the daughter of the late Luke and Nancy Lamb, and the wife of the late John W. Ailstock who died in 2005. She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Lamb and one sister, Bernice Bledsoe.

She attended Upward Christian Fellowship. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by four sons, Eddie Ailstock and his wife Debbie of Las Vegas, NV, Tim Ailstock and his wife Kathy of Hendersonville, Michael Ailstock and his wife Heather of Spartanburg, SC, Bruce Ailstock and his wife Darlene of Coal Hill, AR; nine grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; one brother, David Lamb and his wife Mary of Hixson, TN; five sisters, Almira Lane and her husband Warren of Richmond, VA; Shirley Stapleton of Weber City, VA, Pauline Williams and her husband Paul of Reamerton, WA, Magalene Raley and her husband Jim of Silverdale WA, Jean Dennison and her husband Charles of Jonesville, VA; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, May 8, 2015 at Upward Christian Fellowship. Pastor Anthony Craver will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00pm, prior to the service in the church. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Clarksville, AR.

So sorry for your loss.

Pleasant fun memories of Anna when we were children playing at the Lamb’s house. I have not seen in a long time, but she was a very sweet lady.
