Anthony S. Taddeo, 91, of Hendersonville passed away on November 28, 2022, at Carolina Village.
Born in Richland County, Ohio, to the late Frank and Mary Rossi Taddeo; Tony was also reunited with his beloved wife Doris Taddeo, and stepson Stephen Barnes.
After graduating high school, Tony spent four years serving in the United States Coast Guard. Once returning from his duty, Tony earned a Master’s Degree in Education and pursued a rewarding career as an educator.
Tony was a skilled woodworker, who took care of collecting antiques and took pleasure in sharing his abundance of knowledge of the history behind the cherished items. He was very loved and will be missed dearly.
Left to cherish Tony’s memory are his daughter chosen in love, Janet Hilliard, and stepson Kirt Barnes; grandchildren Steve Barnes, Bridget Stevenson, Frank Barnes, Joy McCraw, and Jody Sankey; great-grandchildren Alec, Drew, Isla, Ashley, Dylan, Bella, Jackson, and Jackie; and great-grandchildren Mona, Owen, and Sean. Tony also leaves behind brothers Carl and Nick Taddeo.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 pm, Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home of Hendersonville, North Carolina, with Pastor Evans officiating.
I really don’t know where to begin…Mr. T as I know him was a very special man….gifted in spirit..thoughtfulness..kindness…love for his fellow man….there isn’t anything he wouldn’t have done for someone in need. I am blessed to have known him and will never forget him…he was talented in so many ways and I will cherish all the wonderful things he crafted for me..my sincerest condolences to his family…rest in peace Mr t.you can now that you are with your lovely Doris and in the loving arms of God
