Arlene Mae Rodriguez of Hendersonville went home to be with her beloved family Thursday afternoon, July 14, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late Harold and Clare Wetle Preston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rodriguez and a brother, James Preston.
Born in Chicago, she stayed there until 1978 before relocating to Florida with her family. She moved to Henderson County in 2004.
Arlene was a member of St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church. She was a well-educated woman and thoroughly loved life.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Rosenblum and husband, David of Peoria, AZ; son, Richard Rodriguez of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Samantha Wicker, Anjanette Carroll, and Anthony, Nichale, Leander, and Theron Rodriguez; sister, Jane Coleman; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Services will be private.
