Barbara A. Beddingfield, 68, of Flat Rock, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 13, 2013 at Life Care Center after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Molly Suttles. She was a native of Haywood County and had lived in Henderson County most of her life. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Hutchinson.
She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Danny Beddingfield; her daughter, Jenni Gregory and her husband Stephen of Flat Rock; two grandchildren, Lindsay and Colton Gregory of Flat Rock; four sisters, Reva Prince of Hendersonville, Frances Guice of Etowah, Eula Mae Suttles and Jo Anne Butler of Hendersonville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 2:00pm Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Beddingfield officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
