Betty P. Brock, 73, of Hendersonville died Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home. A daughter of the late Daniel and Maggie Parker, she had been a resident of Henderson County for most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a son Donnie Brock in 2009, and a sister Ernestine Marshall.

Surviving is her husband of almost 50 years, Donald Brock; five children Kim Streadwick of Flat Rock, Julie Burns of Flat Rock, and Keith Brock, Charlie Messer, and James Messer all of Hendersonville; nine grandchildren; and a sister Bonnie Parker of Hendersonville.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
