BEVERLY MAE WYATT SCOTT, 56, of Saluda, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Oct 30, 2009.
She was a native and life long resident of Henderson county. She was a daughter of the late Tiffin Award and Carrie Hettie Huggins Wyatt, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Cunningham; 2 brothers, William Edward Wyatt Sr. and Larry Eugene Wyatt. She was a member of East Flat Rock 1st Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Curley Scott; a daughter, Tracy Osteen (Lindsey) of Edneyville; a son, Toney Gregory (Jennifer) of Hendersonville and a sister Judy Fowler of Flat Rock; 4 grandchildren, Emma and Dalton Osteen, Zachary and Dominick Gregory; 4 step-children, Tonya, Kurt, David, and Steven Scott; 7 step-grandchildren, Adrian and Savannah White, Paul, Katie, James, Josh, and Christian Scott; and two nephews and one niece.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, Nov 5, 2009, at 2:00 pm, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, with the Revs. Harold McKinnish and Allen Sherwood officiating. No formal visitation is planned.
I am sorry to hear about Beverly’s passing. She was a very kind person and I know she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May God, through his word, grant those she left behind the assurance they will see her again one day.
