Brian Daniel Capps, 42 of Fletcher, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Mission Hospital.
He was a native of Henderson County; and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beatrice Bailey Wells. Brian was a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and was currently serving as Vice-President of the Western Carolina Dart Association.
He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Brian is survived by three children, Anthony, Daniel, and Elizabeth Capps all of Hendersonville; a mother, Beverly Ward and her husband Dave of Fletcher; a father, Samuel Capps of Hendersonville; a girlfriend, Sara Disher of Fletcher; three brothers, Jeremy Capps of TN, Derek Capps, and Sam Dillon both of Hendersonville; and numerous relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville with Rev. Wally Shamburger officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

To our sweet O-D-BO we will miss you and always remember your smile and that playful kindness that you shared with us all. We love you always dear friend.

Brian was just like one of my children for a very long time, I watched him grow up in Willowbrook and then got the opportunity to re-connect when he came to work for FLS . . . . He is an awesome person inside and out. I Love you Brian and I will miss you. My thoughts and prayers are with Beverly and the family. He is home with our heavenly father and I look forward to seeing him again when God calls me home. RIP Brian and know you will be sorely missed !!

I am not able to make the visitation or service but wanted to tell Brian’s family and especially Sara that Brian was well liked and I am very sorry for their loss. My love and prayers are with you.

We met Brian when Mrs. Wells invited us to a memorial day service at church in honor of Danny. He was a very likable young man.
