Carol R. Morrow, 80, died Friday, January 16, 2015 at Pardee Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

A native of TN, he was the son of the late Landon & Mary Morrow. He is also preceded in death by: his wife, Maxine Morrow; son-in-law, Michael Jones; grandson, Jonathan Jones; five brothers, Jahew, Forrest, Milard, Grady, & Ray Morrow; two sister, Norah & Selma Surrett.

Carol installed carpet for over 40 years. He was a member and Deacon of Sugarloaf Baptist Church. Carol enjoyed bowling, antiquing, baseball, racing, and traveling.

He is survived by two children, Tony Morrow and his wife Michelle of Fletcher and Melissa Morrow Jones of Hendersonville; seven grandchildren, Zac Conard and his wife Michelle of Mills River, Stephanie Parnell and her husband Michael of Edneyville, Maxx Conard of Fletcher, Anthony Morrow of Fletcher, Rhianna Jones of Edneyville, Molli Morrow of Fletcher, and Adam Jones of Edneyville; five great-grandchildren, Zakia & Brayden Conard, Isiah & Nathaniel Gifford, and Henery Parnell; a brother, Manson Morrow and his wife Rachael of Polk County.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Sugarloaf Baptist Church in Edneyville. Rev. Robert Garren, Rev. Randy Teague, and Rev. Zac Conard will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Sugarloaf Baptist Church.

I’m going to miss you Carol, we were trading card buddies for 20 years. We had many good times together and I’m going to miss having more with you. I’ll have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
