Carol Thompson Warner, 87, of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord and join her husband in heaven on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at her residence. A native of Florida, she had resided in Henderson County for the past 18 years. She was a daughter of the late Howard and Eleanor Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wally in 2014 and her sisters, Dorothy Matsko and Janet Grace.

Carol was a graduate of Miami Senior High School where she met her husband, Wally. She was proud of her time working for Eastern Airlines in the 1950’s. Carol was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church and possessed a passion for supporting her church and giving to others through her philanthropic works. She loved spending time with her family and had made many friends at Lake Point Landing that she could often be found playing various games with.

She is survived by her children, Allyson Roberts, Dr. Craig Warner (Sheila), and Darlene Pavlas (Damon); grandchildren, Corrie, Kristopher, Kaitlyn and Casey Roberts, Jacob and Zachary Warner, and Megan McFalls (Tim); 5 great-grandchildren and nephews, Jim Notaro and Donald Grace.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Mud Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service from 10-11am in the sanctuary.

I’m very sorry for your loss! I didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time with Carol, but the times I did see her I found her to be a wonderful lady! My heart goes out to everyone suffering through this loss! ❤️

Carol was a neighbor and a dear friend here at Lake Pointe Landing. We enjoyed our time together which included shopping, dining and playing games. I’ll miss our daily telephone calls and the companionship we shared.
