David and I worked together for almost three years at Hubert’s. I’m so sad I couldn’t be there to remember him with everyone. He was a unique person, and never was afraid to be himself. Him and I used to have debates over music. Although we never saw eye to eye it was always a great topic of conversation with us. He will be truly missed.

I just wanted to say, thank you for allowing me to help you through this difficult time. It was my honor and privilege. I quickly grew to care about you all very much. I am so sorry i could not stay longer today, but I made my little boy a promise. My little girl is there, let me know if I can ever place flowers for you. Always in my prayers.

David was one of my favorite people I liked talking to about music when I worked at Hubert’s with him. He was extremely talented at playing his guitar and remember going to his house and playing guitars with him one afternoon. He will be missed. He is one of those people you meet in life who you will never forget. I loved all of his awesome tattoos! KISS RULES!!! Ironically, I was going through some my art work the other day and found one of his Gene Simmons drawings he gave me. He was always a joy to be around.

As I have every day, I reflected on my life-long friendship with David. There are thousands of memories we made, and today I thought about the first movie we saw together. It was ìBill & Ted’s Excellent Adventureî and we had gone to see it at the drive-in. The concession stand was closed. The speakers didn’t work and it rained so hard we could barely see the screen. We stayed anyway, making up our own dialogue, playing KISS music where we thought music should be and laughing our heads off at each other. We had the best time together. And we always did. Every moment spent with David were the best moments of my life. He will always be my best friend.

There was never a more fun-loving, generous, honest and adoring friend than David. I loved him so much. And he was so easy to love because he never held back his own love for you. He loved his family and he loved his friends, utterly and completely. David never wavered in love, loyalty or conviction. His soul is a testament to God’s creation, of sublime goodness and joy.

My heart will ache for him, always.

David was the kind of friend that only comes along once in a lifetime. Honest, true, down to earth, compassionate & loyal. His smile & laughter could light up any room & brighten the darkest day. I’m so thankful to have had him in my life for so long for all of the everlasting memories of all the fun we had.
