Donald Dewitt Brock, Jr., 30, of Hendersonville, passed away Monday March 23, 2009.

A native of Henderson County, he was a son of Donald and Betty Brock Sr. He had attended West Henderson High School and Blue Ridge Community College.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of 5 years, Mary Brock; a son, Cody Dewitt Brock of the home; a step-daughter, Serenity Breanna Johnson of the home; three brothers, James Ray Messer and his wife Patsy of Hendersonville, Charles Wesley Messer and his wife Tamela of Hendersonville, Keith Dewitt Brock of Hendersonville; two sisters, Kim Steadwick and her husband Edward of Flat Rock, Julie Burns and her husband Adrian of Flat Rock and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday in the chapel at Forest Lawn Mortuary.

Forest Lawn Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
