Donald J. Gevert, 59, of Atlanta, GA, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC.
Born in Binghamton, NY, he was a son of the late Doris Gevert. He had lived in Atlanta, GA for thirty years and was a salesman for All-Pak. He was a member of Roswell Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Shelby Lewis Gevert; seven nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Reverend Mike Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the home, 138 Charlestown Dr. Hendersonville 28739. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lung Cancer Society.
Shelby, I have been trying to locate you for a long time. Oh, it’s been so long and I think of you and Champagne often. Pls. call me @ 919-986-2599. I live in Raleigh, NC and would love to visit you. I miss you guys so much!!!
