Dorthula ìDotî Summerall Bailey, 78, of Hendersonville, died Monday, February 09, 2015, at Cherry Springs Village. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late James and Ruby Summerall and wife of the late William Bailey who died in 2014. She was employed by Kyocera for over 20 years, retiring in 1994, and was a member of Stoney Mountain Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Johnson and Vera Lee Summerall and one brother Tommy Summerall.
Surviving are two sons, James ìBoî Mills of Arden and Michael Ray Mills of Hendersonville; two stepsons, Jimmy and Joey Bailey and their families of Weaverville, NC; several grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews; a sister, Ann Phillips and husband Charles of Hendersonville, NC.
No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
