Edward B. Simpson, 91, of Hendersonville passed away Friday, December 11, 2009 at Clare Bridge of Asheville. A native of Greenville, SC, he lived in Henderson County since 1989. He graduated from Georgia Tech, and served with the Air Force in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He retired from Mobile Oil Corporation in 1977.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-two years, Patricia Simpson; a daughter, Edith Simpson of Asheville; and three nephews.
A private memorial service is planned.
