Betty G. Emilio, 85

Elizabeth “Betty” Grace Emilio, 85, of Hendersonville, died Friday, April 23, 2010 at Asbury Care Center of Charlotte.

A native of Passaic, N. J., she was a daughter of the late Patrick Aloysius Reynolds from Portadown, Ireland and Mary Elizabeth Tracey Reynolds from Clooncagh, Ireland.

A retired medical librarian, she was a graduate of Douglass College.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, George Arthur Emilio; three daughters, Donna Marie King and her husband Clifford, of Charlotte, NC, Roseanne Winn and her husband Christopher, of Cummings, GA., and Laura Tracey Thomsen and her husband Trevor, of Danbury, CT; a son, George Arthur Emilio, Jr. and his wife Susmita, of Bowie, MD; a sister, Anne Mulvihill of Reno, NV; a brother, Joseph Reynolds of Passaic, NJ and a sister-in-law, Edna Phillips Reynolds of Clifton, NJ; four grandchildren, Brianna Elizabeth King, Nicholas George Emilio, Jasmine Alicia Emilio and Annabel Hongmiao Winn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
