Ellis E. Parker, 75, of Greeneville, TN, formerly of Horse Shoe, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2009 from James H. Quillen F.A. Medical Center in Tennessee.

His loving wife, Rebecca Parker, passed away February 15, 2009, 24 hours after her husband.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as a military police officer and was a member of the Greenville, TN American Legion Post.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Verna Parker. He is survived by his children, Shirley Hubbard and husband Danny, of Dandridge, TN, David Parker and his wife Kathy of Canton, NC, Carl Parker of Brevard and Raymond Parker and his wife Debbie of Greeneville, TN; his brother Houston Parker and his wife Annabelle and his sister Leona Shealy; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson, Zachary; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009, in the chapel at Forest Lawn Mortuary, with the Reverend Travis Russell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to service time. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Guests may sign an online register book at www.forestlawnhendersonville.com.

Forest Lawn Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
