Jeff and Beth, so sorry to hear about your Mom. When Mom told me the news today, I thought of the times when I visited your home in Hendersonville when I was an kid, and how kind, friendly and welcoming she and your entire family always was. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Mike

I first met Eva working at Hendersonville Pediatrics. She took me under her wing and taught everything about the pediatric practice. If, anyone ever had the blessing of meeting or being around Eva they know exactly what everyone is sharing. She was one of the kindest most loving people I have ever met. Praying for God’s peace for her family.

I remember Eva as a kind, thoughtful woman who was always good to us neighborhood kids (I was one) and old folks (I am one). This world was better because she walked through it with us.

Sending my sincere condolences in the loss of your Mother. Eva had a sweet and gentle spirit that made everyone around feel loved.

I cherish our memories of times together at church, our trip to Six Flags over Georgia, picnics at the Pink Beds in Pisgah Forest, and hiking on Long John Mountain. Such fond memories our families shared.

Praying for you during your time of grief.

To the family of Eva: We are so sorrowful for your having to say goodbye to your very own treasure. Phil’s 1st comment after learning of Eva going on to be with Jesus was ” She was truly 1 of the nicest people anyone could know”. Understanding that this can be heavy and difficult for family when a cherished loved one goes on to their permanent home I say to you such a treasure Eva was to have been a loving deliverer of hope, faith & grace as God’s word directs us to be– but few have the tenacity, strength or wisdom to adhere to.

I pray that you are able to find peace knowing that Eva is now rejoicing in the presence of Jesus, relishing the magnificent splendor of heaven & uniting with others whom she met along her journey here on Earth that have already reached Heaven. May the Lord’s greatest peace & comfort surround you all in this time of grieving. Be mindful that the Lord must trust you because you-her family were blessed with the privilege of close relationship with a true witness of the Lord who created a legacy worth knowing and protecting.

Continued prayers for you all,
Philip & Michelle Cable & Family
