Frances Shuffler Webb, 78, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022. She was born in Buncombe County to the late Horace and Helen Shuffler.
Frances was a beloved wife and mother, and her selfless spirit made her a natural caretaker of others. She was an avid gardener and volunteer, giving her time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and being actively involved in her church. She had a long-spanning career with General Electric before retiring in 2006.
Frances is survived by her children: Lisa Loftis (E.W.), Tonya Hensley (Michael), Kimberly Webb, Jeff Webb (Sonya), and Scott Webb (Lori); her grandchildren: Heather, Shaun, Jade, Coal, Colby, Nikki, Walker, Weston, Karisma, Randa, Gunnar, and Tamara; her great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kendall, Nakialey, Jace, Maci, Tristan, Landen, Chase, Autumn, Ava; her sisters, Sarah Webb (Vernon) and Joyce Bishop; and her brothers, Frank Shuffler (Mary) and Jerry Shuffler.
In addition to her parents, Frances is predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Max Webb; her siblings: Horace Phillip Shuffler and Linda Goroff; other family members: Jack Webb, Randy Webb, and Jeremy Shuffler; and her father- and mother-in-law, Clarence and Carolyn Webb.
A memorial service will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Hendersonville on Saturday, March 12th at 11:00am. A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
