Frances Shuffler Webb, 78, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022. She was born in Buncombe County to the late Horace and Helen Shuffler.

Frances was a beloved wife and mother, and her selfless spirit made her a natural caretaker of others. She was an avid gardener and volunteer, giving her time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and being actively involved in her church. She had a long-spanning career with General Electric before retiring in 2006.

Frances is survived by her children: Lisa Loftis (E.W.), Tonya Hensley (Michael), Kimberly Webb, Jeff Webb (Sonya), and Scott Webb (Lori); her grandchildren: Heather, Shaun, Jade, Coal, Colby, Nikki, Walker, Weston, Karisma, Randa, Gunnar, and Tamara; her great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kendall, Nakialey, Jace, Maci, Tristan, Landen, Chase, Autumn, Ava; her sisters, Sarah Webb (Vernon) and Joyce Bishop; and her brothers, Frank Shuffler (Mary) and Jerry Shuffler.

In addition to her parents, Frances is predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Max Webb; her siblings: Horace Phillip Shuffler and Linda Goroff; other family members: Jack Webb, Randy Webb, and Jeremy Shuffler; and her father- and mother-in-law, Clarence and Carolyn Webb.

A memorial service will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Hendersonville on Saturday, March 12th at 11:00am. A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Sarah and Vernon Webb, Jane Brackett, Eva Bond, Cathy Stepp and Darren Lackey for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church, 1315 Old Spartanburg Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792.

Fran will be missed. She was always ready to help. She was a member of our Mission Team and loved to go on Church trips.
