Georgia T. Almany, 85, of Pisgah Forest, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012. She was born in Spartanburg, County and was a resident of Transylvania County for most of life. Georgia was a daughter of the late Oliver and Lula Dickson Toney. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, William Robert Williams and M. G. Almany, Sr.; daughter, Barbara Jean Walker; four brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include his sons, Bill M. Williams and his wife Debbie, Bryan T. Almany, and Buddy Almany and his wife Jane, all of Pisgah Forest; daughters, George Anne Jones and her husband Mark of Simpsonville, and Mauri Ashe and her husband Marvin of Pisgah Forest; grandchildren, Carey and David Wilson, Quincy Alexander, Brandi Lynn McCall, Grayson Goodson, Bryant Almany, and Dwayne and Garney Almany; great grandchildren, Mitchell Connelly, Hunter Alexander, Emerson Paulman, Luke McCall, and Lauren and Garrett Almany; brother, Herbert Toney of Alexandria, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Evangelist David Soesbee will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.

I will miss Aunt Georgia and her sweet smile. She will be missed, I will keep all of you in my prayers. Her trials on this earth are now over.
