Gordon McDonald, 70, of Flat Rock, passed away at his home, Saturday, February 28, 2009.

Born in Baltimore Maryland, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Marie (Buscher) McDonald.

He served his country in the Army Reserves and had been a resident of Henderson County for ten years.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty eight years, Jackie McDonald; a son, Brian McDonald and his wife Toni of Etowah; a brother, Barry McDonald of Baltimore, MD and four grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter, Alexander, and Ryah McDonald.

At his request, no services are planned.
