Chris and Cathy, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. May God give you comfort and bless you with many loving memories you shared.
Auntie Gwen made the best cakes with rich cherry’s on top. She treated me like a daughter and loved me like one to. Auntie Gwen was my Mums best friend and they spoke every week, when they could no longer see each other weekly. Auntie Gwen loved her garden, the sunshine and holidays with my parents. We all did so much together in my younger years, heading to Walton on the Naze, in Essex are my favorite memories. They made me a little Catamaran and a paddle to sail in the sea. Their generosity knew no bounds. I adored them both and was so grateful to Christopher for keeping me in touch when Auntie Gwen moved to the States.
Auntie Gwen spoke eloquently and respectfully but she had a very cheeky humoured spirit, that made me giggle.
Myself and my brothers, Steve and Gary, were very lucky to have the Hamlins in our lives in Priory Court, Harlow, Essex, England. They were good neighbours who became our family and we all loved them.
I’m now thinking of all the family left behind, whom Auntie Gwen was so proud of and who she loved unconditionally.
God Bless you all on earth and in heaven xxx
Living in heaven now, with dear Uncle Bert by your side. You’ve waited so long to see each other. May you be in peace with those who loved you so much. God Bless you all in God’s home. Until we meet again, I love you.
