Harold B. ìPoppyî Case, 67, of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011. He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. He was a son of the late Walter and Brinnie Case. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Bernice Summerall.
Mr. Case worked for Thomas BP Service Station for 31 years and Lowes for 10 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Shirley Case; step daughter, Tammy Miranda; step son, P.J. Watkins; brothers, Carroll and Harley Case; grandchildren, Brandon and Kasey Watkins; great-grandchildren, Zachery and Addison Watkins; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with the Reverends Charles Rogers and Harley Case officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday evening in the Forest Lawn Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Hospice Compassion for Life, 571 Allen Rd. Flat Rock, NC 28731.

Keri, Steph and I were sorry to hear about Harold passing on. I will always remember his visiting us at Walmart when he came to pick you up. He was a gentle man and a gentlemen. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
