Harold Dean Eubanks, 75, of Hendersonville, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at his residence following a brief illness. He was a son of Stella Eubanks and the late Amos Dean Eubanks. He was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Eubanks who passed away in 1997 and his brother, Robert ìBobî Eubanks.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, Harold retired from the Henderson County Public School System after 12 years of employment. Prior to that he owned and operated Davis Station Grocery.

He was very mechanically inclined and could fix almost anything. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was always a reliable father, brother and friend, who was willing to help anyone in need.

Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Banther and her husband Jamie of Hendersonville; mother, Stella Eubanks of Hendersonville; sister, Delores ìSusieî Matheson of Brevard; brother, Cliff Eubanks of Mill Spring and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
