Helen Daily Freeman Morgan, 92, of Hendersonville, died Tuesday, Oct 12 2010, at the Elizabeth House. She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, and a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lois Lyda Freeman, and the wife of the late Gordon George Morgan. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Edneyville, and a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Gail Burgess and her husband Hubert of Hendersonville, and Lois Fullerton of Hendersonville; one brother, T.B. Freeman of Hendersonville; one sister, Pearl Barnwell, of Hendersonville; five grandchildren, Bob Edward Burgess of Hendersonville, Terri Griffin and husband Casey of Wilmington, NC, Alex Fullerton and wife Mary Beth of Hendersonville, Ashley Fullerton and wife Kimberly of Asheville, and Kendall Fullerton of Hendersonville; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Fullerton, Colin Fullerton, and Emma Fullerton; and a special Beloved Friend, Mildred Lyda.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Oct, 14 2010, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Lawn Mortuary with the Revs. Harriett Shands, and Alan Taylor officiating. The family will be at the home of Gail and Hubert Burgess. The family requests memorials be made to St Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1659 St. Pauls Road, Hendersonville 28792, or to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock NC, 28731.
