HULAN ì BUDî CASE, 63, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the Elizabeth House.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, and a son of the late John Thomas and Margie Hoots Case. He retired from Agfa Corporation with 21 years of service, and was a brick and block mason. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Ann Garland Case; two sons, Scott Case, and Chris Case, and his wife Kelly, all of Hendersonville; one sister, Mildred Johnson and husband Roy, of Hendersonville; a brother, Hubert Case of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Tristen Case, Starh Morgan, Emma Wilson, and Tasha Carver and ten neices and five nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 21, 2010, in the chapel at Forest Lawn Mortuary with the Revs. Chris Norris and Phillip Kuykendall officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Mortuary, and other times will be at the residence, 208 Corn Mtn Rd. Chris Case, Greg Kinseth, Bill Thomas, Scott Webb, Mike Jones, and Brian Ward, will serve as pallbearers. Flowers are appreciated and memorials can be sent to Four Seasons Compassion For Life, 571 S. Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
Our heartfelt Christian sympathy goes to the family. Many people here still remember “Bud” Case. Our prayers will be with the family during this time of bereavement. If there is anything the church can do, please let us know.
So sorry to hear about the loss of Bud. We worked together on line 3 for a long time. Had some good times. He will be missed.
