I was so sad to belatedly learn of Jim’s passing. Jim hired me in 1968 for the State of Maryland Economic Development Office. I was a true novice in this field and was straight out of college. Jim took me under his wing and taught so much. Not only did he teach me about E.D. he also in a very nice way taught me how to handle myself. I later went to have a very successful career in Economic Development largely due to Jim’s mentoring. I have recently retired to Aiken, SC.

Jim was always a professional, fair minded and cared about people. I know he had a wonderful life and want to express my deepest sympathy to his family in his passing.
