James Ronnie Galloway, 52, of Hendersonville, passed away unexpectedly Friday October 28, 2011.

He was a son of the late Ford and Leota Galloway. A native and life-long resident of Henderson County, he had been employed with General Electric Lighting Systems for thirty four years.

He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Galloway and Lanta Galloway both of Hendersonville; a son, Jason Galloway of the home; two sisters, Carolyn Phillips of Boone and Marilyn Tipton and her husband David of Mills River; two grandsons, Aidan Burnette and Shane Townsend and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Family sorry for your lost. I work with Ronnie For 28 of His 34 years. Ronnie was a blessing to have as a employee.

I knew Ronnie for over 20 years. We used to hunt together years ago, and we’ve worked together during all of that time. He will be missed by a lot of people.
