Jane Elizabeth Hardin

Jane Elizabeth Hardin, best known as Maw, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, at the age of 77. She retired from Duraline Imaging and has been a lifelong resident of Hendersonville, NC. Her favorite activities were listening to the birds while drinking her coffee, going dancing, and spending time with those she loved.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Edith Hoots; her husband of 32 years, A.Z. Hardin; her granddaughter Erin Hardin; her best friend of 72 years, Brenda Deal and her sisters, Emma Gail Tolley, Autumn “Sis” Patterson, Elaine Johnson and Aleida Hoots.

She is survived by her four children Wesley Hardin (wife Tammy), Angela Warren (husband Doug), Cody Hardin, and Diedra King (husband Kevin). Maw has 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. She is also survived by her sister, Myra Hoots, and three brothers, Victor “Doc” Hoots, Anthony “Bud” Hoots, and Greg Hoots, along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Kelly Hardin and the Deal family hold a very special place in Maw Jane’s heart as well as her family.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC, on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 12 pm to celebrate the love, laughter and strength Maw instilled into her family. Pastor Craig Garren will be officiating.
