Jeffrey ìJeffî Canaday, 53, of Hendersonville passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Pardee Memorial Hospital. A native of Panama City, FL, he was a son of the late Gerald Canaday and Sally Ann Canaday of Leesburg, FL. He worked with VanWingerden as a foreman supervising greenhouse fabrication for fourteen years.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, David Canaday and his wife Beth of Hendersonville; two daughters, Karese Blackwell and her husband Rick of Greeneville, TN, Chelsea Horton and her husband Daniel of Stanley; two brothers, Michael Canaday and his wife Carolyn of Palm Coast, FL, Charles Canaday and his wife Vivian of Tampa, FL; a sister, Judy Sanders and her husband Gordon of Leesburg, FL; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Mortuary. Chaplain Charles Kirby will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
