Jewel Ann Jones, 70, of Hendersonville went to her Lord Saturday morning, December 18, 2021, following a courageous battle with an extended illness. Born in Hot Springs, NC to the late Verland Wyatt and Lillie Suttles Wyatt; she is also predeceased by her sister Lorraine Mixon.
Jewel graduated from East Henderson High School; for twenty-eight years she was a loyal employee to WilsonArt. Jewel absolutely loved spending time with her family, especially over the years taking trips together to Tennessee. She was a member of In Jesus Name Baptist Church.
Jewel will be dearly missed by all.
Left to cherish Jewel’s memory are her loving husband of nearly fifty-one years Earl Jones, beloved sons Anthony Jones (April) and Travis Jones; and two precious grandchildren Elias and Hazel Jones. Jewel also leaves behind six dear sisters Geraldine Smith (Charles), Marie Gentry (Paul), Cleo Rudisill (Frank), Faye Rhodes (Larry), Rhonda Delozier (Jim) and Mary Morgan (Randy). In addition, Jewel is also survived by sister-in-laws Sara Gardner, Rita Jones and Brenda Hensley, who served as her loving caregiver in her final months.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Hospice Care of Flat Rock, North Carolina; the Jones family would like to express their warmest gratitude to Four Seasons Hospice Care of their outstanding dedication.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Richard Gardner and Rev. Dale Gilbert officiating.
