I remember walking home from school and stopping at Grannys (Jewelles) and going in the front door, grabbing a biscuit off of the old wood stove top and getting water out of the sink with the ladle then out the back door and the screen door slamming as we went in and out, and Jewelle hollaring at us to quit slamming the screen doors, but we paid her no mind and up the trail to our house we went. I know she would not have had it any other way. Love you Jewelle
