Johnnie E. Crutcher Abrams, 79, of Etowah died Friday, November 13, 2009, at the Elizabeth House, after a short illness.
Born in Franklin, TN, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Abrams in 1998. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Adams.
She is survived by a son, with whom she resided, James Crutcher and his wife Diane of Etowah; a daughter, Janice L. Counts and her husband Bob of Saluda; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday in the chapel at Forest Lawn Mortuary. Reverend Tommy Hart will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of James Crutcher.
