Johnny A. Lane, Jr., 47, of Saluda, died Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Pardee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Battle Creek, MI, he was a son of Johnny A. Lane, Sr. and Lorna May Brown Lane.
He had resided in Delton, MI and lived in Henderson County for seven years.
He had attended Delton Kellogg High School and was employed with Michigan Paper Board.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Russell Lane; a son, Johnny A. Lane III of Flat Rock; a step son, Jessie Burns and his wife Amanda of Zirconia; a daughter, Jan Christle and her husband Jason of Zirconia; three brothers, Rod, Todd and Shawn Lane of MI; a sister, Candy Miller of MI; six grandchildren, Morgan, Isaiah and Lillianna Burns, Brendone, Hailey and Madison Christle and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel at Forest Lawn Mortuary. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
I remember all the great times we had when we were younger. We share a beautiful daughter. I wish you wouldof met her.
