Johnny Dryman, 62, of Hendersonville died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Pardee Memorial Hospital.
A native of Jacksonville, FL’ he has lived most of his life in Henderson County. Johnny is preceded in death by his mother,Christine Dryman who died in 2012. He worked 14 years at General Electric. Johnny was an avid outdoorsman. He was very proud of his Scottish Heritage, and enjoyed attending the Highland Games.
He is survived by his son, Donald Dryman and his wife Misty of Flat Rock; a father, Bill Dryman of Hendersonville; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn & Kasey Dryman; three brothers, Kenny Dryman and his wife Angie of Hendersonville, Terry Dryman and fiancÈ Becky Phillips of Arden, and Michael Dryman and his wife Sasha of Huntersville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family request guests to wear casual wear for the service.
