Joseph S. Rostkowski, of Hendersonville passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Brian Center of Hendersonville after a long battle with Alzheimers. A native of Garfield, NJ, he lived in Hendersonville since 1986.He was preceded in death by his parents, Antoni and Felecia Rostkowski; a sister, Jean; and five brothers, Chester, Edward, John, Peter and Sigmund.
Joseph was employed for over thirty years with the US Postal Service. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy, was a Mason and Shriner. He was also a member of the VFW, and Pinecrest Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his caring wife of sixty-four years, Olga Rostkowski; three sisters, Eleanor Deich, Stasia Hegybele, Lottie Mully; three sisters-in-law, Alice Cebula, Ann Ross, Peggy Rostkowski; and many dear nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Friday, February 15, 2013 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Evans will officiate.
