He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping , and hiking with his youngest cousins. He loved being a boy scout in Troop 605 as he was growing up.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia Glasser; his father, Jeffrey Glasser; and his brother, Matthew Glasser, all of Hendersonville; his grandmother, Christine Jones Freeman of Bell, FL; his fiance, Mindy Owensby and her daughter, Ciera, the upcoming birth of a son; aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 am Saturday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Edneyville with Rev. Harriet Shands officiating. A celebration of life gathering will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Cindy…Oh how sorry I am to hear about your Josh. Alderman called me and left a message on my cell which I did not get until after the funeral. I am praying for you and your family that God will wrap His loving arms around you and give you the peace that passes all understanding. My heart is heavy and tears in my eyes for you…A great big hug girl. Love you, Carol

Josh was a wonderful giving person. He did alot of yard work for me after my husband died and wouldn’t take a penny. He was a hard worker. I for one will miss him.I saw him at home depot a few weeks ago he looked happy and content I didn’t get to talk to him but as he crossed the parking lot he saw me and waved goodbye. I am heartbroken he is gone but I must accept the fact GOD had better plans for him. I hope his family will find the peace and comfort they need.

Cynthia, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know you probably think you’re alone but you know I’ve gone through the loss of Jason. If you ever need to talk please call me. Just get my number from Shane. Josh was such a great and loving person. He was family and he will be missed by so many people. We love him so much!
