Joshua P. Strother, 6, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. He was a son of Max “Joey” Strother and Amanda Strother.
He loved wrestling and was a huge fan of John Cena of the WWE and also loved
playing football with his big brother, Joseph. He attended Mills River
Elementary. He loved his family and his family cherished him.
In addition to his parents, Joey and Amanda, he is survived by his brother, Joseph Strother; paternal grandmother, Brenda Thrift and her husband Thomas; Maternal great-grandfather, Jerry Hayes; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park following the service. Reverend Tom Burke will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
Brother Joey and family, Tim and I are so sorry to learn of Joshua’s passing. Know that we are thinking of you and praying for God’s sweet comfort for you now and the days ahead. In Christ’s Love.

Dear Joshua I am going to miss your sweet smile and your kind nature and your helpfulness and being a friend to everone. We seen the horrific accident on the news and it just broke are hearts as we have 4 children and 2 of them are near the same age as your son. We could not imagine what you and your family are going through at this time. Are hearts are broken that this has happened. We pray that your family and friends will find some kind of comfort during this difficult time. Rest in peace sweet Joshua
