Juanita Bradburn Bradley, 85, of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Hendersonville, NC, passed peacefully on July 30, 2013 at the Haven Hospice Care Center in Orange Park, Florida. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 67 years, Henry Austin Bradley, Sr. She was the daughter of the late Cleophus Armstrong and Ida Woody Bradburn. She was predeceased by her brothers, Steve, Frank and Authur Bradburn, a sister, Eula Mae Burleson, and a granddaughter, Linda Elaine Glenn.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara Jean (Jim) Brown, a brother, Jimmy Bradburn, two sons, H. Austin, Jr., and David Bradley; a daughter, Carol Ann (Clyde) Starr; grandchildren Cyndi (David) Rivers, David, Daniel and Thomas (Kathryn) Starr, and twins Sarah and Emily Bradley; great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Courtney and Abby Rivers; Landon and Gabriel Starr; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bradley was retired from General Electric in Hendersonville, NC. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, gardening, cooking and spending time with her loved ones. She enjoyed playing the organ.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 3rd at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll Poole officiating. A private burial will follow the service.
Juanita’s family, So sorry for your loss. I worked with Juanita at G.E.during the 70’s and we went to Opryland on a company trip and enjoyed ourselves very much.She talked about her family so much.Our thoughts and prayers to all the family during this time of loss. Sharon & Tommy King
