Juanita Medlin Jackson, 76, of Dana, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation.
She was a native of Greenville, SC, but had lived in Henderson County for 65 years. She was the daughter of the late George Wesley and Jacqueline Powell Medlin. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Haynes. She was the secretary for Arthur Jackson Plumbing for 35 years. She was of the Baptist faith and was a graduate of Flat Rock High School.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur M. Jackson; a daughter, Gail Jackson of Hendersonville; a son, Phillip (Jennifer) Jackson of Marion; two sisters, Patricia Radford and June Barfield of Hendersonville; six grandchildren, Sarah and Laci Haynes, Heather and Kristen Belk, Courtney Capps and Emma Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Cameron Bumgarner, Adrian Wilon and Zachary Jackson.
No local services are planned. Memorial may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
