Kathy Mae Reese Peterson, 53, of Hendersonville, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009, at her residence. She was a member of East Flat Rock First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Ada Orr and step-father, Glenn Orr; father, W.C. Reese; a son, Johnathan Collier; three daughters, Fran Hall, Hope Lindsey, Brandi Ramsey; a granddaughter, Brittany Culver; grandsons Blake Ward and Dallas Hall; a sister, Genny Nicholson; five half-brothers, Joey Reese, Randy Reese, Bobby Reese, David Reese, Chris Reese; and a number of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2009, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Mortuary. Reverend Tony Reese will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., prior to the service in the chapel.

I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR OF KATHY’S PASSING. WE WENT TO GRADE SCHOOL TOGETHER. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE FIRST DAY SHE WAS IN MY CLASS. EVERYONE COULD NOT BELEIVE HOW PRETTY AND NICE SHE WAS. SHE HAD ALL THAT BEAUTIFUL LONG BLONDE HAIR. SHE WAS TRULY A SPECIAL PERSON. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL.
