Larry Slade Cromer, 55, of Hendersonville, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2022. Born in Mount Vernon, KY, he was the son of Dale and Lula Strahm.
Larry was a devoted family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren greatly. He was someone who would help anyone who needed it. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on cars. He was passionate about animals as well.
Larry is survived by his wife of 15 years, Penny Cromer; his sons: Ethan Cromer (Joy), Dylon Cromer (Kaley), Chris Bradley (Brittany), and Tyler Bradley (Savannah); his grandchildren: Slade, Sawyer, Luke, Scarlett, Barrett, and baby Bradley; his mother, Lula Strahm; his mother-in-law, Shelby Rathburn; his sisters: Lora Phillips (Kevin), Lesa Towe (James), and Lana Cromer; his brother, Shane Strahm (Charity); his sister-in-laws: Pam, Paulette (Tony); his brother-in-law, Brian (Earin); many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Hatchi.
Larry is predeceased by his father, Dale Strahm, and his father-in-law, Paul Rathburn.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 26th at 11:00am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the Chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
So very sad for Larry’s passing. My thoughrs and prayers are with this wonderful family in this time of sorrow.
I worked with Larry for years and I’m heartbroken to just hear the news. He was as good as they come. My prayers are with all of the family. Rest In Peace my friend.

I worked with Larry and he was one of the kindest and gentlest of souls I’ve met. I will miss him and his sense of humor.
Larry has been my friend and my coworker for just a few months but I feel he has been my friend my whole life.
If something was broken I could count on Larry to fix it.
