Linda Louise Holtzclaw Conner, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 18, 2023 at Mission Hospital. Linda was born in Gaston County, NC, and lived a life filled with love, family, and joy.

Linda’s work experience included Ruth Originals, where she made lasting relationships with her coworkers and customers. Her interests included reading, cooking, camping, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Linda had a contagious smile that could light up any room, and her unwavering positive attitude was a source of inspiration for everyone who knew her.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Earl “Buddy” Jackson Conner; daughters, Lisa Conner of Hendersonville and Lee Ann and her husband, Tony Corn of Mills River; grandchildren, Caroline and Lukas Corn; and her sister, Judy English of Hendersonville, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Lee Holtzclaw, her mother, Allie Caroline Holtzclaw, and her brothers, Howard “Bud” Holtzclaw and Warren Dale Holtzclaw.

A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Thomas Glenn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM.

Linda’s life was one that touched many hearts and will be forever remembered. Her kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her.
