Linda Edwards, 53, of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 9, 2013, at Pardee Hospital.
A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Sam Edwards and Mary Lou Edwards of Hendersonville. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jeff and Jimmy Edwards.
She was a member of Upper Worship Center. She never met a stranger, and was loved by everyone. People said she was like an angel looking over your shoulder.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Edwards and her stepfather, Ricky Edwards; sisters, Vickie Allen and her husband Gordon, Melissa Edwards and her husband, Mark, and Teresa Edwards and her husband, Lat; brothers, Keith Edwards and his wife Shirley, Michael Edwards and his wife Omagail, Larry Edwards and his wife Ellamae, and Bobby Edwards and his wife Gladys; a nephew, Dylan Edwards; twenty two nieces and nephews; and fifty two great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 2pm Friday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Thursday in the chapel.
